Returns and exchanges

✩ All sales are absolutely, positively 100% final.

✩ There are no returns or exchanges if something does not fit. Measurements are provided and are there to guide you with your purchase. Always compare the given measurements with those of something that fit you. If you need advice, please contact us!

✩ We will provide a refund of STORE CREDIT ONLY (minus shipping) or exchange if we missed a huge flaw and the buyer has shown valid, visual proof. The item must be returned with original packaging intact, no exceptions.

✩ Please note that items from the 1920s and earlier are non-returnable due to their fragility and need for proper care. There are no exceptions to this policy.

✩ If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us to discuss the matter privately before leaving feedback.

Payment

✩ Payment is accepted in the form of debit or credit card.

✩ All item holds of more than 24 hours require a down payment NO EXCEPTIONS. 

✩ Layaway is offered for items $75+. A down payment is required to start a layaway plan. Items $200 and less must be paid off within 4 weeks while items over $200 must be paid off within 6 weeks. Canned Ham Vintage reserves the right to keep any payments made during a layaway plan, even if the plan is not completed. Due to loss of time and a potential immediate sale, this is only fair.

✩ If you have a coupon code it CANNOT be used on orders less than $10, if the item has been reduced in price, or if there is a storewide sale.

Shipping

✩ We ship once per week via USPS. If you need an item by a specific date, Express shipping, or insurance, please contact us before purchasing so we can provide you with the additional costs to be paid.

✩ USA: Orders are sent Priority Mail (2-3 business days) and include a tracking number. 

✩ International: Orders are sent First Class International Mail (2-9 weeks). Please contact us before purchasing a item if you need international shipping.

International buyers, YOU are responsible for all VAT, import fees, and taxes imposed by your country. Please understand that we not aware of any fees that you will have and we have absolutely no control over them. That being said, DO NOT include in your feedback that you are upset about extra customs fees as it is highly unfair to us since we have no say in the matter.

✩ Unfortunately due to import restrictions, we do NOT ship to Italy at this time. Sorry.

✩ Canned Ham Vintage is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages! All international mail has a proof of mailing customs declaration number. Domestic packages come with a tracking number, but without the extra cost for insurance, we cannot really help you. If you think your package might be lost, please contact us and we will try to work things out. We will do our best to try and find your item.

Additional policies and FAQs

✩ All vintage is sold in "as-is" condition. All measurements are double checked for accuracy. We do our best to inspect, correct, and list important flaws. All measurements are made with the garment laying flat.


✩ Most garments are washed by hand with the lightest of soaps followed by a natural drying from the sun. Some items such as rayon, heavily beaded dresses, or acetate-like fabrics are not cleaned before arrival, only steam pressed and sprayed with an odor neutralizer. 

✩ Please keep in mind that vintage items have been previously worn and loved and often have small, unnoticeable flaws or slight signs of wear, such as tiny holes or small age spots, that only adds to their charm. Each piece is described to the best of our knowledge, but it is possible that a small flaw may go undetected. When you buy vintage, you are buying history!
